| Storz Type Fire Department Connection |
|
|
STORZ Type
Fire Department Connections are designed specifically
for Fire Sprinkler Systems. Originally designed
as a quick-connection system for large diameter
hose, each STORZ Type inlet features two or
three lugs depending on connection size. STORZ
connections are genderless and standardized.
Any two STORZ type connections can be mated
of the same diameter connection. Can be assembled
or disassembled quickly with simple engagement
of the lugs and approximately one quarter
turn. Hose ends on Fire Service hose have
an integrated lever type lock to keep connection
from disconnecting on hose pressurization
or hose movement while under pressure. |
